Andrew Spencer Reveals Where He & Teddi Wright Stand Now and If They Have a Future
Talking it out.
Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Andrew Spencer on “The Bachelorette” Season 17 and he gave love another shot on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 8.
On this week’s episode of “Paradise,” fans saw Andrew leaving both Ency and Jessenia, revealing his heart was still partially with Teddi.
Now, Andrew is stopping by the “Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where he’s opening up about where he and Teddi stand now.
Andrew told co-hosts Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo that he has reached out to Teddi since filming ended.
He said, “I do talk about it at the reunion, but I did reach out to Teddi through a couple texts. It was nothing serious; I just really wanted to get a chance to have a conversation with her. I just want to be friends at the end of the day. We went through this experience together. We spent some good time together and we laughed a lot together.”

Andrew went on, saying, “I just didn’t want her to be completely out of my life in that way. I also wanted to be there for her. I know that wasn’t the easiest time for her on the show. I wanted to let her know that she still had a friend and ally in me. I wanted her to know she’s not alone and that was pretty much it.”
Mike and Bryan asked Andrew if there’s any potential for a romantic future with Teddi or if they are just friends now.
Andrew said, “I don’t think I’d be the one to reach out to her again. I did that and that was it. But if I ever saw her in an organic place and we had a couple chats, I guarantee I would be a lot better than I was on the beach. I’d be a lot smoother and I’d definitely shoot my shot again.”
But he reiterated, “Anything over social media or texts, there’s no way I’d reach out again. That would come from her at this point if she felt like she needed to.”
