Emily Ferguson Shares Pregnancy Details and Answers Fans’ Burning Questions
Mom-to-be is spilling the tea!
Bachelor Nation star and famous twin Emily Ferguson Karlsson married professional hockey player William Karlsson on July 23 at Resorts World in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And earlier this week, the two just announced that they are expecting their first child together!
Emily took to Instagram and shared a video of their sonogram and little Converse shoes with a sign that says, “Baby Karlsson coming May 2023!”
Now, Emily is answering fan questions about her pregnancy so far, name ideas, and more!
Emily shared when she first found out she was pregnant, and it was right around the time of fellow Bachelor Nation star Amanda Stanton’s wedding.

The Bachelor Nation star said, “I didn’t know for sure, but had a feeling it could definitely be possible. I took a pregnancy test before Amanda Stanton’s wedding and it was negative. Two days after the wedding I got a positive test! I should have known for sure because my skin was legit glowing and so oily and I couldn't stop eating salty crackers that whole trip lol!”
Emily revealed that her due day is May 19, 2023, and that she and William will make sure their baby has dual citizenship in both the United States and Sweden, where William is from.
And while the parents-to-be haven’t revealed their baby’s gender quite yet, they already have a name picked out.
Emily said, “We’ve had a boy name and a girl name picked out since 2018! I don't know how we’ve agreed on names so easily, but we just have! We made a list of names we love, but just always have loved certain ones and it still hasn’t changed.”

And if you were wondering if Emily was also having twins because she and her sister are famous Bachelor Nation twins, she said “No! The doctor only found one baby in there!”
Emily shared that she’s been experiencing pretty bad morning sickness and documented that she’s started to show a little baby bump.
She wrote, “I popped quickly! My body changed fast. I noticed things changing at 6-7 weeks. A lot of bloating. I think my belly actually legit popped right at 12 weeks. And it’s slowing down a bit now! I didn’t take too many bump pics because I just haven’t been feeling so well and I’ve been so lazy.”
We couldn’t be happier for Emily and William as they embark on this next chapter as parents.
Congrats again to the Karlssons!
