Bachelor Nation fans saw Johnny DePhillipo find love and get engaged to Victoria Fuller on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between Johnny and Victoria and Victoria has moved on to dating fellow Bachelor Nation star Greg Grippo.

Now, Johnny joins us exclusively here at BachelorNation.com, where he opened up about seeing Victoria at the reunion and whether he’s moved on.

Bachelor Nation: Thank you so much for sitting down with us, Johnny. I know it was an emotional night for you. How are you feeling now after the “Bachelor in Paradise” reunion?

Johnny DePhillipo: I feel better after the reunion. I feel like I can finally start putting my relationship with Victoria to bed and moving on. I’m ready to put it behind me. I was surprised by a lot at the reunion. For her to go as low as she did and bring up arguments that we had in private, it became a bit of a ‘he said,’ ‘she said’ situation. I don’t say things like that. For me, that all felt like a low blow. I think she said that stuff because was nervous, but I just really didn’t want us to go there.

BN: That’s understandable. Did you and Victoria have any conversations before the reunion about what you did/didn’t want to discuss regarding your relationship?

JD: Before she decided to go public with Greg and go to Italy, we were very much civil after our breakup. I wanted to go to the reunion and be honest saying things didn’t work out between us because we were on different levels. That was it. We had good conversations and we left on good terms, but then she went public with Greg and rumors started coming out.

BN: Were those the cheating rumors you addressed at the reunion?

JD: Yeah, those rumors. She was truthful about their relationship, though, and she told me what happened, but I was still skeptical about the whole situation.

BN: And now that the reunion is behind us, do you feel like you got the closure you needed from your relationship with Victoria?

JD: I feel like I got the closure I needed at the reunion, but also a while ago. I know now everything I need to know to move forward with my life. We very much weren’t working out. We were on two different levels. She is used to a lifestyle that I wasn’t there for yet. She seemed to need more and it wasn’t supposed to work out right now.

BN: That makes sense. Now that it’s been a few months, are you open to dating again?

JD: I am stepping back and working on me for now when it comes to dating. I don’t think there will be any engagements for me again any time soon. I am open to dating and I’m not going to let this bring me down. As much as things didn’t end great for us at the reunion, Victoria did teach me a lot and I do have respect for her. I really do wish her all the best. I don’t want that situation to deter me from dating.

BN: And what about “Paradise” — could we ever see you back on the beach again?
