Michael Allio Describes Why He Loves Danielle Maltby So Much and Makes Everyone Emotional
Grab the tissues!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby find love and leave the beach together on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now as Danielle gears up to move to Ohio to be closer to Michael and his son James, the two stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where they opened up about their relationship.
Michael and Danielle discussed the moment when he said “I love you” to her for the first time at the “Paradise” reunion.
Michael said, “She had absolutely no idea and have only said ‘I love you’ to one other person in my entire life. I never said it to anyone in grade school or high school, just Laura. I always make this joke that ‘I love you’ gets thrown around all the time on the show, but even in high school.”

He went on, adding, “I think about all the relationships that I had in high school where the girl would say ‘I love you,’ but I just couldn't say it. They wanted to strangle me, but I wanted to save it for somebody that I really felt it for.”
The Bachelor Nation star explained why he felt so sure about being in love with Danielle.
And brace yourself, because his words brought co-hosts Serena Pitt and Becca Kufrin to tears.
“Everything made sense with Dani. She’s an extraordinary person. I always think about this when thinking about what love is. It’s when you walk into the room with your partner and you know that everyone is looking at them and you’re so proud to be by their side,” Michael shared.
He continued on, saying, “Danielle is 100% one of those people. I have tons of physical attraction towards her, she’s so beautiful. But she also inspires me, she’s motivating, and I’m behind her every step of the way.”

And while Danielle and Becca wiped away their tears from this emotional moment, Serena chimed in and shared why Michael’s explanation was so meaningful.
Serena said, “You do an incredible job of describing love, like really amazing, beautiful, strong love. I think your words really touch people. Becca and I are in loving relationships and we’re so happy to see you two have found each other. Your words resonate so well. You are so amazing at articulating what is so hard to articulate about love.”
We couldn’t agree more! And we love Michael and Danielle’s love.
