Spilling the tea!

Bachelor Nation fans first met Hunter Haag on Season 26 of “The Bachelor,” and she went on to appear on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”

Hunter’s stay in “Paradise” was short-lived after she didn’t receive a rose at the first Rose Ceremony and was sent home.

Now, she’s stopping by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast, where Hunter spilled some behind-the-scenes “Paradise” tea about a conversation she had with Jacob Rapini.

Hunter and co-host Jill Chin were discussing who Hunter was interested in besides Johnny DePhillipo, whose rose ended up going to Victoria Fuller.

Hunter candidly said, “The only other person I was kind of interested in was Jacob.”

And Jill, who also had a relationship with Jacob, chimed in, saying, “I remember this because the first Rose Ceremony when everything started to hit the fan, I was trying to find Hunter a rose. So I was like, ‘Jacob! Let’s set it up!’ And I told Hunter to go talk to Jacob.”

Hunter shared that Jill was actually originally trying to set Jacob and Hunter up.

Hunter said, “Jill actually came to me and said Jacob said he might be interested in you, go talk to him! And I didn’t want to be a rose hunter, but I was open to having a conversation with him to see how it went. It was fine, but he also mentioned that he might give a rose to Kira, Hailey, or even Jesse Palmer. He didn’t even mention Lace, but that’s who he ended up giving it to.”

But after having a good conversation with Jacob, Hunter shared that she heard him talking about her to Logan at the bar.

Hunter explained, “I had overheard him talking about me. Jacob and I just had a conversation on one of the daybeds. We went over to the bar and then I started talking to Jill or someone else. Then I overheard him after he had just told me that he found me very attractive and wanted to get to know me better.”

She went on, saying, “He was at the bar five minutes later saying, ‘I don’t see anything with any of these girls. My girl is not here.’ He was saying he didn’t have a spark with anybody after just telling me he had interest in me.”

Co-host Natasha Parker asked Hunter if she called Jacob out in the moment and Hunter said she wishes she did.

“I didn’t say anything in the moment, but I should’ve asked him if he didn’t mean what he told me two minutes prior,” she shared.
