Casey Woods Shares Update on Broken Ankle 6 Months After Shocking ‘Paradise’ Exit

Fans first met Bachelor Nation star Casey Woods on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette,” and he went on to look for love on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Casey’s “Paradise” exit shocked both fans and his co-stars after he fainted and broke his ankle.
As fans recall, Casey fell to the floor as tensions rose with Peter and Brittany after Casey informed Brittany that Peter had been talking badly about her behind her back.
Earlier this year, he stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to discuss the scary incident.
Casey said, “I fainted, and when I opened my eyes, I didn’t realize that my ankle was just destroyed. I actually tried to get up, and that’s when I saw my ankle. It looked like I had wedged a football into my ankle. They quickly put me in the ambulance. It was so painful.”
And after multiple surgeries, months of recovery, and preparing for physical therapy, Casey is sharing an update on his ankle.
The Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to share a photo of his most recent X-ray.
Alongside the image, Casey said, “Today is six months since my injury. I saw the doctor and my bones look great. Now time to heal the ligaments and tissue. Physical therapy begins now!”
He also shared a photo of his much smaller ankle brace and wrote, “New swag alert! Bye bye boot!”
We’re so glad to hear that Casey is healing and on the road to a full recovery.
Hopefully his physical therapy journey helps him get back to 100%! We’re continuing to send our love as he continues to heal.
