Hannah Ann Sluss Reveals How She Met Boyfriend Jake Funk
A digital love story for the ages!
Last February, Bachelor Nation star Hannah Ann Sluss went public with her relationship with Jake Funk, who plays running back for the L.A. Rams.
And now, Hannah Ann is revealing more details about how the two met and the early days of their relationship in a new TikTok.
Hannah Ann said, “It was a TikTok love story. Really, that’s how we met. I remember like it was yesterday. I posted a TikTok that was trending and it caught his attention. He followed me on TikTok and ended up messaging me. I got home from a girls night and had some Moscow mules. I was laying in bed bored and lonely looking through my DMs and I got a DM from Jake that said, ‘Shooter’s shoot.’ I ended up saying back ‘Slam dunk.’”
And while Jake was initially attracted to Hannah Ann, she wasn’t sure if she felt the same way right off the bat.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “To be honest, at first I really wasn’t interested in him. I never saw myself dating a blonde. If you would’ve told me that I’d end up with a blonde that’s also younger than me, I would not have believed you. It’s nothing against blondes, they were just never my thing.”
Eventually she decided to go out with him, sharing, “I ended up going on a date with him three days later after my friends begged me to go because I was nervous about going on a date with a stranger.”

And Hannah Ann is certainly glad she took the risk!
“It immediately was just one of those relationships where we didn’t have any drama, which was a first for me. We were able to keep things really private and really get to know each other,” she explained.
Once the two started dating, their feelings for each other escalated quickly.
Hannah Ann said, “When we started dating, two weeks in he told me that he loved me and we love a guy that isn’t afraid to share his emotions. As soon as we started dating, I met his parents and my parents came out from Tennessee to meet Jake as well.”
She shared that their parents are now best friends and she encouraged her followers to shoot their shot in the DMs because you never know what could come of it!
