Jesse Palmer Teases What Fans Can Expect from Zach’s Season of ‘The Bachelor’
Ready for love!
Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor” premieres in just a few weeks and host Jesse Palmer is spilling the tea on what we can expect from this season.
The Bachelor Nation host stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where he teased what kind of Bachelor Zach is.
Jesse started off by saying, “I would say Zach’s season is a bit of a throwback season in the sense that this is really about the love story. It’s not so much about the drama. I know in the past drama has taken over and there will always be some drama, but this season is less about that. It’s really more about the love story and Zach trying to find his person. He’s really intentional. I was so impressed watching him because he really made a point to talk to everybody.”

Jesse commended Zach for making time for all the women and reflected how on his own season he wasn’t even able to do that.
The host said, “Zach made a point to have time with every single woman on every date. There may be one or two that he didn’t, but he was really intent on that. Part of that was maybe because of his experience on Gabby and Rachel’s season. There was a lot of time taken away because of stuff that happened, but a lot of it is really just Zach and what he wanted to do.”
And while this may not be the most dramatic season Jesse has hosted, he said it’s definitely the most emotional.
“This is also easily the most emotional season that I’ve hosted, not even close. I think it’s a lot of expressive emotion. Going back to night one and I remember watching the women getting out of the limo and it was the most I’ve ever seen of people walking up saying, ‘I’m so happy it’s you, I’m here for you,’” Jesse explained.

Jesse shared that the women were really there to meet Zach and that Zach took the process seriously.
He said, “These women were really emotionally invested and hopeful of finding love with Zach. Also, Zach is an extremely emotional Bachelor. He’s an extremely emotional man. He cries a lot because he has such a big heart and genuinely cares about people’s feelings, his actions, and how he affects people. The hardest part of this for Zach was the goodbyes. When he says goodbye to people, it breaks him.”
We can’t wait for Zach’s journey as the Bachelor to kick off on January 23 at 8 p.m. on ABC!
