Michelle Young Shares Why She Thinks She’s Single: ‘My Heart Can’t Take It!’

On Michelle Young’s season of “The Bachelorette,” fans got to know her parents, LaVonne and Ephraim Young, and see how much they mean to the Bachelor Nation star.
Their love story has been an inspiration for Michelle for her entire life, and she just took to TikTok to share why she thinks their love is why she’s still single.
In her post, Michelle discussed how she hopes to find the qualities that she sees in her parents’ relationship in a future partner and wrote, “Why I may be single for life.”
In the video, Michelle says, “I’m coming to the realization that I may be single for the rest of my life because if my relationship is not the same quality as my parents’ relationship, I legitimately don’t want it. Hear me out: My parents have been married for 34 years and have the most beautiful relationship that I have ever seen.”

She went on and shared a recent example of why she looks up to their relationship so much.
The former Bachelorette said, “They never stop doing the small things for each other, and here’s an example. My mom was over last night and we were hanging out for our girls night. My dad decided to surprise her by putting up the Christmas decorations in our front yard. My dad forgot that we have a Ring doorbell. He set off the sensor 70+ times within a couple hours. My mom and I just sat and watched him set up the decorations. He was bundled up because we are in Minnesota and it’s freezing cold here.”
Michelle shared some of the video footage of her dad walking back and forth in the freezing snow to set up the decorations and surprise her mom.

At the end of the video, she says, “My heart can’t take it!”
Michelle’s fellow Bachelor Nation star Rachel Recchia commented on her post, agreeing with the sentiment, writing, “If it’s not love like this I don’t want it!!!!!”
Kit Keenan also chimed in, saying, “Stopppp this is so cute!!!”
We love Michelle’s parents’ love and we know Michelle’s person is out there!
