This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Jason Mesnick & Jillian Harris Enjoy Private Robin Thicke Concert

As we approach Season 27 of “The Bachelor,” we’re looking back on some of the best moments in Bachelor Nation history.
This week, we’re throwing it back to Season 13 of the show when Jason Mesnick was our leading man.
For his first one-on-one date of the season, he took Jillian Harris on a date that was filled with romance and live music by a special guest.
Jillian was whisked off to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles for an unforgettable night with Jason.
The two got to experience a VIP tour of the hall, a champagne toast, and a private performance by superstar Robin Thicke!
As the couple enjoyed the show, Jillian said, “Having that kind of performer in front of you all to yourself was beyond amazing. It just hits you! The experience was phenomenal.”
Robin performed his songs “Magic” and “Sweetest Love” on the date, and Jason was pleasantly surprised by Jillian’s forwardness.
He said, “When he started singing, I wanted Jillian to feel a little more comfortable and then I thought I’d get her to dance, but she took the lead! She grabbed my hand and got up and we started dancing.”
Jason went on, adding, “I love that my first date is with Jillian. It’s exactly what I hoped for. She is fun, exciting, easy to talk to, and there’s romance too.”
And the feeling was mutual! Jillian shared, “I feel like I’m the luckiest woman in the world being here with Jason. This was the most exciting date I’ve ever been on.”
The two shared the very first kiss of the season while slow dancing to Robin’s performance.
After the date, Jillian got all up in her feels, saying, “This was one of the most intimate experiences and most intimate dates I’ve ever been on. Tonight definitely took our relationship to a whole new level. I felt like I was in the exact right place I was supposed to be by the way I felt in my heart. I know no matter what happens for the rest of my life, this is what I was supposed to be doing today. This was every girl’s dream!”
