Fans saw Bachelor Nation star Clare Crawley find love and get engaged to Dale Moss on Season 16 of “The Bachelorette.”

After the two left the show engaged, they faced ups and downs, and it was eventually revealed that Clare and Dale went their separate ways.

Then, last October, Clare revealed she got engaged to boyfriend Ryan Dawkins.

Now, the former Bachelorette is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she got candid about both her past and current relationship.

Clare told co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young that her fiancé Ryan proposed to her twice.

Once in the stunning moment we all saw on Instagram, and then again in a more private proposal with Clare’s mom present.

Bachelor Nation fans know that Clare’s mom has been in hospice care for Alzheimer’s disease and Clare has been her primary caretaker for years.

Clare told Michelle and Becca that the second proposal “was a moment I never expected. Anything with my mom, who’s still in hospice for dementia and Alzheimer’s, is so valuable because time is so limited. There was a point a year and a half ago where we thought it was the end. This is gonna make me cry, because I never thought that moment was possible.”

The former Bachelorette went on and shared why her past relationship broke her heart in more ways than one.

Claire said, “I was so upset for so long about my previous relationship because you took that moment and that time away from me and my mom. That was special and I had been waiting to share it with my mom, and my dad hasn’t been able to be around for that. Obviously, he’s there in spirit but not physically to witness a proposal. I felt robbed of that before and taken advantage of that before and used for that.”

So this moment with her fiancé Ryan was even more special for her.

Clare shared, “This time with Ryan, that moment was so beautiful and he got emotional, which made me so emotional. He was so respectful and loving and is still so kind to my mom. This is what makes me emotional, you never know where life is going to lead you. I’m almost 42 years old and I thought about how lucky I was to have that moment with Ryan and my mom. My mom is still here and giving her best. She’s comfortable and happy right now, so not only will she be able to see that moment, but God willing too she’ll be at my wedding.”

We are so happy for Clare as she enters this exciting next chapter of her life, and we can’t wait for her and Ryan to tie the knot!
