Bachelor Nation fans are getting to know Katherine on Zach Shallcross’ season of “The Bachelor.”

This week, we saw Katherine receive Zach’s Group Date Rose, but that wasn’t before their date was interrupted by Tahzjuan, who wanted to join in on Zach’s season.

Tahzjuan was a part of the Bad B*tch Energy group date as a guest but later crashed the cocktail party asking Zach if she could join his season.

Now, Katherine is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she opened up about the date and her feelings about Tahzjuan wanting to join their cast.

Katherine started off telling co-hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young that she just wanted to be herself on the group date and show Zach her personality.

She said, “I truly just wanted to be myself and have fun with it. If I was just being myself, that’s the best thing that could come out of it. If I thought about it too hard, I would probably act like a weirdo. I was just going with the flow and I was just focusing in on Zach and blocking everything else out. That helped ease my nerves. There was no strategy. I had never been on a group date before. If anything, I was trying to play it safe a bit.”

And she also shared her initial reaction when Tahjz came to the cocktail party asking Zach if he was interested in pursuing a relationship with her.

Katherine said, “Honestly, my first thought was, ‘Can you come back tomorrow? It’s really late in the night, we can have a conversation about this later.’ I just couldn’t believe this was happening right now. I didn’t know in that moment that Tahzjuan was actually there to pursue him, we just heard that she was there. I wasn’t sure if it was part of the date still or if she was there to give us more pointers. We didn’t know until we went over and asked her what’s up. When Cat first told us, we just didn’t know what was happening.”

The Bachelor Nation star said that they eventually went over to Tahzjuan to ask why she was there and she threw some shade at them, saying they didn’t bring it on the date.

Katherine said, “I did say something along the lines of this isn’t bad b*tch energy, this is mean girl energy. This isn’t a way to approach this situation, or at least I wouldn’t. It was really chaotic. There was a lot going on and she wasn’t really giving us straightforward answers.”

But she said she was trying to give Tahzj the benefit of the doubt, saying, “I was trying to think about how maybe she was insecure or how she didn’t want to hurt our feelings. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. When I started processing how she was approaching it, I thought it wasn’t a very good display of bad b*tch energy, it was just mean. She was kind of just insulting us in order to build her relationship with him. At the end of the day, I wasn’t here to explain myself.”

Michelle and Becca asked Katherine how she would’ve felt if Zach decided to bring Tahjz into the cast.

She said, “If he asked her to stay, it wouldn’t have impacted my view of him as a partner. At that point in the process it’s still so early. If he did feel something with her and vice versa, then go for it. It’s not my place to tell you who to pursue at that point.”

Katherine continued, saying, “It’s not necessarily unfair, though we did give up our lives and she hadn’t at that point, but at the end of the day this is a show about finding your husband or wife. So if you feel like you have something with someone, I would say go for it. Also, I want my partner to choose me over everything. If he was feeling temptation, I would still want him to choose me over that temptation, so I would want her to be there if he was feeling that.”
