The Bachelor Nation star said, “I don’t know if I want to have kids. I always saw myself as a mom growing up, and then the older I got, I saw how much work and pressure it is. I also can’t see us not having kids. Dean always asks if I’m so hot and cold about kids if that worries me, but I also know I’m 27 and I’m not quite ready to get pregnant. I think we could have two or three kids one day. I’m also terrified of pregnancy. There’s a lot that I’m nervous about, but it’s exciting as well.”
Caelynn went on and shared that Dean has actually been considering getting a vasectomy in the meantime when they think about their future.
She said, “I don’t know if Dean has talked about this, but he really wants to get a vasectomy, like before we would want to have kids. He wants to get a vasectomy because he doesn’t think it’s fair that a woman has to take birth control. So then if we are ready to have kids, he would unsnip himself and we would be able to have children.”

Caelynn went on, adding, “We both need to research it more when it comes to if it can impact your ability to have kids in the future. I also know that there can be pain in reversing a vasectomy, so I don’t want him to be in pain.”
Jared chimed in, saying he agrees with Dean that there is a double standard for men and women when it comes to pain.
He said, “It is such a double standard. We’re talking about the pain that can come with a vasectomy, which I’m sure can be traumatizing, but women have to go through so much just to have one kid. With Ashley, she was tracking her cycle and knew what days were best. And that was all before she even got pregnant!”
