Jen Saviano Shares 10 Tips for Traveling with a Baby Under 1 Year Old
Baby on board!
Bachelor Nation star Jen Saviano welcomed her son Wilder Reed to the world last April.
Now, Jen is sharing tips for traveling with her little one, as they have become travel pros since he was born.
Alongside an adorable video of Wilder looking out a plane window, the new mom wrote, “Wilder took his 10th flight yesterday at 10 months! Here are 10 things that have been really helpful to have… but the list could go on :).”
She went on saying, “…boy I could go on and on lol! Honestly though, anything you gotta do to keep your baby fed, comfortable, entertained and safe… I’m all for.”
We love parents supporting parents with helpful tips!
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Check out her full video a below and Jen’s 10 travel ideas are as follows:
1. Muslin blankets: These are super versatile! I always have one with me in his stroller and especially when traveling. I like that they are lightweight and easy to toss around.
2. Portable sound machine: Is the airplane one giant sound machine? Yes, BUT the white noise from the machine is not only familiar to them, it’ll help drown out any startling noise nearby.
3. A toy they love: Familiarity is comfort! A teddy, blanket, or toy from home they love is always good to keep with you.
4. Something new: Whip out a new toy or item they’ve never seen before to grab their attention for a little while.
5. SNACKS: A good variety of snacks. Can never have too many snacks.
6. Paci clip: A loose paci on a plane is kind of a nightmare. The clip makes life easier for both baby and you.
7. Paci case: I just got these little clear cases and love them! No more dirty nipples, yay.
8. Painters tape: Who knew!? A fun little sensory activity to keep them entertained for a good 15 mins.
9. Holy trio: I mean, wow, I truly think gripe water nighttime is sent from above. I also always like to have pain reliever on hand just in case — and teething oil to help sooth!
10. Antibacterial wipes: A no-brainer. Keep those tiny hands clean.
