Mari Pepin Opens Up About Her Breast Augmentation Surgery and Shares 2-Week Post-Op Vlog
Opening up.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch find love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Since then, the two have been keeping fans updated with their lives on social media and Mari just got vulnerable with her followers.
She took to her YouTube channel and documented her experience getting breast augmentation surgery in Puerto Rico, where her family and fiancé Kenny helped her recover.
In her video, Mari said, “I’m super excited and happy about my decision to get breast augmentation surgery. I’m also very aware that sharing this is opening me up to potentially a lot of criticism, backlash, negativity, and mean comments. Nobody wants to feel upset and read mean comments, but in the name of transparency, I decided to share this with you all. 2023 is a year where I really focus in on being very raw and unfiltered and upfront with you all.”
Mari went on and explained why it’s so important for her to be honest with her followers about any procedures she’s had done.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “Aside from just wanting to be transparent and upfront with you all about, I think this is something I want to be honest about because I have a platform. I know that my platform and what I put out there can affect people. I never want to be someone who portrays a false image of idealized beauty or perfection, which obviously doesn’t exist.”
Mari went on, adding, “I’ve always been upfront about any procedures I’ve had. I used to get filler under my eye and I told you about that. You can tell that I don’t right now. I’ve told you about my lip filler which I just got a couple months ago after not having it for several years. So this procedure is no different.”
Mari also shared that this procedure is something she’s wanted to do for many years and can finally afford to make it happen.
She said, “I can’t believe that I’m actually doing this! This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. I actually had my very first breast augmentation consult when I was only 20 years old. I was in school and could not afford it, but now that I’m in a position where I can get this done, I’m super happy and excited that it’s finally happening.”
