‘The Bachelor’s’ Ariel Shares Her Dad’s Hilarious Reaction to Her Nude Sauna Date with Zach

Bachelor Nation fans are getting to know Ariel on Zach’s season of “The Bachelor,” and now she’s stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to open up about her journey.
Co-host Becca Kufrin asked Ariel about her one-on-one date with Zach and what ran through her head when she found out they’d be going to a nude sauna.
Ariel shared a hilarious story that brought her back to her dad’s biggest fear with her going on the show.
She said, “The funniest thing is that I was very nervous to go on the show and really debated if I was going to do it or not. My parents held a family meeting about it. They sat me down about whether I was going to do it or not. My dad gave this speech, saying, ‘You cannot do the show because there will be naked people. They will force you to kiss naked people and it is not appropriate.’”

Ariel went on, saying, “I swear he watched ‘Game of Thrones’ and straight up thought it was ‘Bachelor.’ I don’t know what show he watched — this is on ABC — so I don’t know what he’s talking about. He said, ‘They will take you into rooms and there will be naked people everywhere.’ I’m doing a Gru accent, so I’m done with that now.”
So naturally, she couldn’t help but laugh when she found out her date would actually include naked people like her dad had warned her about.
She said, “I thought about my father as soon as the nudists at the sauna were announced. He warned me! He told me there would be naked people on the show and I told him he was crazy and that I was going to do the show regardless.”

Ariel continued, “The fact that my dad was in my head when I saw two naked people was weird for me and I still think about it today. My dad really got in my head. I remember just laughing at him for an hour, saying I wouldn’t be naked and everyone would be in a bathing suit at most. Then when the nudists came in, I just had to laugh.”
