This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Andi Dorfman is Named the Next Bachelorette!
Throwing it back!
After being one of Juan Pablo’s final three women on “The Bachelor,” Andi Dorfman decided to leave the show after calling her night with Juan Pablo in the Fantasy Suite “a nightmare.”
Then, this week in Bachelor Nation history, Andi was named the Season 10 Bachelorette at “The Bachelor’s” “After the Final Rose” special nine years ago.
The fan favorite from Juan Pablo’s season sat down for her first interview as the show’s leading lady onstage during “AFR.”
She said, “At the end of the day, if I don’t have someone to share my accomplishments or even my defeats with, it doesn’t mean anything to me. I’m looking to find that great love. I have a great life. I just don’t have anyone to spend it with.”
Andi, who was a 26-year-old attorney at the time, was still processing the exciting news alongside Bachelor Nation fans.
She said, “This is insane! I’m about to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I’m speechless.”
And that she did!
Andi got to meet 25 men vying for her heart as she kicked off her Bachelorette journey just a few days later.
During her season, Andi and her men traveled to many beautiful destinations, including Big Bear Lake, Santa Barbara, Connecticut, France, Italy, Belgium, and the Dominican Republic.
They were also treated to musical performances from Boyz II Men, American Young, Ben Fields, Jon Pardi, and This Wild Life.

While Andi left the show engaged to Josh Murray, the two eventually went their separate ways and Andi has since found love off-screen.
She’s currently engaged to fiancé Blaine Hart and the two are planning their wedding day.
