Mike Johnson Shares Update About His Girlfriend and His Plans to Move Back to Mexico

Bachelor Nation fan favorite Mike Johnson revealed he was in a new relationship last December, and now he’s stopping by the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast and opening up more about his new boo.
Mike co-hosted this week’s episode with Joe Amabile and started off the podcast by sharing some life updates.
He revealed he’s planning on moving back to Mexico for the summer, saying, “Life is good, man. I’m about to move back to Mexico. I love going back to Mexico for the summers, porque yo hablo español. I’m in Austin, Texas, right now and I only live in Mexico for three months out of the year. I am spreading my wings and learning from the locals and living life in a different culture, from a different perspective.”
Mike shared that he may even be trying to buy some property in Zihuatanejo, Mexico, so he can go back and forth more regularly.

“I have an apartment out there. I may be looking for some land too. Do you know who Enes Yilmazer is? He’s on YouTube and high-profile real estate guy. I love this guy, his videos are awesome,” Mike shared.
He went on, explaining that he and his girlfriend love watching Enes’ YouTube videos, saying, “Last time we spoke, I told you that I have a girlfriend and she and I always watch him together. He did a home in where I’ll be staying in Zihuatanejo and it’s only $2.5 mil compared to the usual $45 million homes, and it’s the best home I’ve ever seen on that show.”
So Mike may be property hunting during his time in Mexico this summer. How exciting!
The Bachelor Nation star also opened up more about his girlfriend and why he hasn’t been posting about her on social media.

Mike said, “I believe in privacy, not secrecy. So if you and your beautiful wife Serena come to Austin, we’ll definitely go out, but if we take a picture, we probably won’t post it. I’m like that, but people definitely know who she is.”
He continued, saying, “We just had South by Southwest here in Austin, so a friend of mine from Bachelor Nation, Connor Saeli, was speaking at a panel, so my girlfriend came with me. She’s out with me all the time, so people know who she is. We have pictures together.”
