Dean Unglert Reveals He Got Caelynn Miller-Keyes a Third Engagement Ring and They Share Wedding Updates
Third time’s a charm!
Bachelor Nation fan-favorite couple Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes found love on Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and got engaged last year.
The two are currently planning their Aspen, Colorado, wedding for this year and just opened up about wedding planning and their famous lost engagement ring on the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast.
In case you weren’t aware, Dean famously lost the engagement ring he planned on proposing to Caelynn with.
On the podcast, he jokingly said, “I still haven’t found the ring. It just evaporated. I think Caelynn hid it or did something with it, to be honest.”
Caelynn chimed in, saying, “That would be a crazy thing for me to do!”

And Dean explained what happened and why he just got her a third (and hopefully final) engagement ring.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “It went missing, and she has a new ring now. The ring I proposed with is from a jeweler and I got an inexpensive diamond ring, just to have something for the occasion. Now, I do have a new engagement ring for her, so I guess that’s the third engagement ring. I haven’t given it to her yet, but I plan on giving it to her before the wedding in a special way.”
Dean went on, adding, “Maybe I’ll do it while we’re in Hawaii. I guess who knows, we’ll see if there’s a moment that could lend itself to that. Fortunately, a ring company reached out and said they heard I lost the ring and they wanted to give us another one. So I got out of the woods on that one.”

We can’t wait to see how Dean decided to give Caelynn her third engagement ring!
The two are almost done with their wedding planning and Caelynn shared an update about where they’re at.
She said, “We have everything planned for our wedding minus some little details. He needs to pick out his tux, but my dresses are ordered. We just got our invitations in and I feel like we have everything. I feel good. I feel less stressed than I did when we started planning.”
Caelynn went on, saying, “I have two dresses. Our wedding venue is going to lean hard into the theme. The wedding is in Aspen and it all feels very us. It’s kind of like ‘Yellowstone’ vibes.”
Dean shared that he wants to wear a bolo tie and shared how much input he’s had with wedding planning decisions.
He said, “I have a say in things. We just got our invitations mocked up and sent to us and they are beautiful invitations, and there are little details, like, I was wondering why there are a pair of cowboy boots on the invitation. I’ve never worn cowboy boots and I don’t feel like she wears cowboy boots very often.”

Dean went on, saying, “So I bring things up like, why are we tailoring our invitations to be cowboy-themed when neither of us are a cowboy or cowgirl? There are little things like that, but we are able to come up with solutions for things like that pretty quickly and easily, so it’s been good! I’m getting excited. I was just telling Caelynn’s grandparents last night about my vows. They are about 60% written. I’m looking forward to that.”
And while his vows are almost fully written (in his head) Dean shared his vows pet peeve that he sees at a lot of weddings.
He said, “One of my biggest pet peeves with weddings is when the bride or groom is reading their vows and they are just reading like a robot off their notepad. I just want some emotion and some genuineness in the actual reading of the vows. I’m going to write them down, but I’m not going to read or rehearse them.”
We can’t wait for Dean and Caelynn’s big day, and if you want to hear more from the couple, check out the full episode below.
