Rachel Recchia Reveals How She Ruined Her & Genevieve Parisi’s Stagecoach Experience
Story time!
This past weekend, Bachelor Nation BFFs Rachel Recchia and Genevieve Parisi headed to Indio, California, for the Stagecoach festival.
Rachel and Genevieve invited Rachel’s little brother and Genevieve’s little sister with them for what was supposed to be a very fun weekend.
Rachel just took to her TikTok page to reveal how she accidentally ended up ruining their first day at the festival and managed to end their day crying on the floor of a random gas station.
The former Bachelorette started off by saying, “This is a story time about how I ruined our entire first day at Stagecoach. This is also PSA because I learned such a valuable life lesson and maybe it can help someone.”
Rachel said that she and Gen planned out the entire weekend to make it fun for their siblings and even found a cool Airbnb with a pool so they could hang there during the day and go to the festival at night.
On their way there, they found out that they couldn’t check in to their Airbnb until 4 p.m. on the first day of the festival and they wanted to see an artist at 6 p.m.
So the group of four went to a friend’s Airbnb who had already checked in and got ready there before heading to the festival and decided they’d check in to their Airbnb late that night.
As soon as they arrived at Stagecoach, Rachel started having problems with her phone.
She said, “I don’t know how this happened. I don’t know if it was because I had the directions up on my phone, but I got out of the car and my phone screen went completely black. The only thing you could see was this little loading circle. It would not stop. I didn’t think anything of it at first. I just thought I would enjoy the concert with no phone or social media and just live in the moment.”
Amid all the excitement of being at the festival, Rachel said, “We’re having the best time, then all of the sudden in the middle of Luke Bryan’s set, I had this horrible realization that the only person who knows A. the address to the Airbnb and B. the code to get in was me, who no longer has a phone. I sit on the ground and try to turn my phone off and try to get it to work desperately.”
The former Bachelorette said she tried logging into her Airbnb account on Genevieve’s phone, but it was making her do two-factor authentication, which she couldn’t do because she couldn’t access her phone.
At that point, Rachel said she started crying on the ground at the gas station where they were waiting because she had no idea what to do and Genevieve’s sister was on the phone with Airbnb asking if they could help get access to Rachel’s account.
Airbnb couldn’t help them, so they ended up going to a Best Western and getting a room there for the night.
As soon as they arrived in their new (very expensive) room, Rachel’s brother fixed her phone and said he just needed Wi-Fi to fix it and figure it out.
Rachel concluded her story time by saying, “That’s my story of why you should always share the address and the code to get in of the Airbnb with everyone you’re staying with. And to the Best Western in Indio, California, you have always been the MVP.”
