Bachelor Nation Shows Support for Serene Russell & Brandon Jones Amid Breakup

Bachelor Nation fans saw Brandon Jones and Serene Russell find love and get engaged on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
After the show, the two moved in together in San Diego and spent time with each other’s friends and family.
Unfortunately, this week the couple announced they are ending their engagement after around a year together.
In their joint statement, Brandon and Serene wrote, “After many months, today we have ultimately decided to end our engagement. We have tried to work privately on our relationship which has been incredibly challenging in the public eye.”
They went on, saying, “This has been immensely hard to accept and painful, as there is a lot of love between the two of us. We are deeply hurting and can only ask that there be no hate. The best path for us at this time is to try and move forward and heal from this as individuals.”
Many of Serene and Brandon’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments of their post with love and support for both of them.
Clayton Echard wrote, “Y’all both are incredible people and I hope you are able to find peace and clarity during this time. Here for you both.”
Katie Thurston chimed in, saying, “Healing publicly is difficult. Sending you both love and strength during this time.”
Jill Chin added, “Love you both so much. Wishing you guys all the healing in the world.”
And Johnny DePhillipo said Serene and Brandon are “both are amazing people.”
We couldn’t agree more with all the love, and we’re wishing both Serene and Brandon the best as they navigate this next chapter of their lives.
