Ashley Iaconetti Reveals Why She & Jared Haibon Are Waiting to Try for Baby #2

As fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.
Then, after many ups and downs on Seasons 2 and 3 of “BIP,” they surprised fans and announced their relationship in 2018.
The two got engaged on Season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and tied the knot in August 2019.
And after welcoming their first child Dawson together last year, Ashley is getting candid about why they aren’t trying for baby number two right away.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, Ashley shared why she is waiting until August to start thinking about having more kids.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “Lots of reasons. I wish I could wait longer, but I would ideally like Dawson to be within 3 years apart from his sibling. I haven’t been able to enjoy a summer for a while. Two years ago I was pregnant and suffering and last year, we were in the midst of a move and Dawson was in an extremely fussy phase.”
Ashley went on, saying, “Dawson is THE BEST but also a lot of work. I would lose my damn mind if we tried any earlier. I have friends that talk about how lucky they feel to have easy babies and Jared and I have never been able to relate. We need to make sure Dawson’s at an age where he’s a little more independent.”
But Dawson’s independence isn’t the only reason why Ashley is taking a bit more time to prepare for baby number two.
As fans recall, Ashley was extremely sick throughout her entire first pregnancy and shared her experience on social media.
So she also added, “The biggest stress is the thought of how I’ll be able to take care of Dawson while pregnant. I assume I’ll have hyperemesis gravidarum again. Moms who had multiples with HG, message me how you got through it.”
