Kaity Biggar Returns to Work as a Nurse and Bachelor Nation Reacts: ‘Back on 12-Hour Shifts’
Feeling the love.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar find love and get engaged on Season 27 of “The Bachelor.”
And while Zach and Kaity have both gained hundreds of thousands of followers on social media since their time on the show, they have both gone back to the full-time jobs they had before their Bachelor Nation days.
Last month, the couple spoke to Austin Monthly about their decision, with Zach saying, “You can just go to L.A. and then try to pursue that, which is totally fine. But for us, we love Austin. We love everything that’s going on here, and I think a lot of other people recognize that too.”
Kaity agreed, adding, “I’m going back to my nursing contract at the end of the month, and I’m looking forward to that. I love the hospital I work at and the people are incredible. Like Zach said, we’re not really trying to be in the limelight; we’re just honestly trying to be normal.”
And now Kaity has officially gone back to work as a nurse!
The Bachelor Nation star took to her TikTok page to share a video from a day on the job and said, “When you’re back on 12-hour shifts and see people enjoying their lives outside.”
Kaity captioned the video, “When all you want to do is enjoy a warm, sunny, nice day and not have to work! #nursing #travelnurselife”
Kaity’s video quickly went viral, raking in almost a million views in a day!
The comments were filled with Bachelor Nation fans excited to see that she’s continuing her career in nursing despite her fame from the show.
One person wrote, “So nice seeing people go back from the show and go back to their jobs not just going on the show to become influencers. And an ER nurse! 😍”
Another said, “Thank you for still being a nurse!!! 🩶 you’re one of us!”
And this fan added, “This is fitting given last week was National Nurses Week! Thank you Kaity and all the other hardworking nurses who do so much for us! 🥰🙌🩹”
Kaity responded to many of the fans with hearts and smiling emojis.
