‘The Golden Bachelor’ Is Coming to ABC This Fall: ‘It’s Never Too Late to Fall in Love!’
It’s official!
Bachelor Nation’s newest show in our franchise is finally coming this fall, and it’s one fans have been waiting for.
As Bachelor Nation fans know, casting calls for a senior “Bachelor” have been airing during “The Bachelor” franchise shows for a while now, and the highly anticipated show is almost here.
On Tuesday, ABC announced that the newest installment in the Bachelor franchise is called “The Golden Bachelor” and the format will be similar to other Bachelor Nation shows.
In this series, one man will be looking for his perfect match among a house full of women eager to receive his final rose. The only difference is this time, it’s seniors looking for love.
In a press release for the show, ABC described the series as a celebration of “the golden years where one hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life.”
As for the women vying for his heart, they will be “arriving at the mansion with a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. In the end, will our Golden man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams?”
The show is set to premiere this fall, and the one-hour episodes will air on Monday nights at 10 p.m. on ABC.
