As fans know, Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti first met on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2015.

Then, after many ups and downs on Seasons 2 and 3 of “BIP,” the couple got married in August 2019.

After welcoming their first child together last year, Ashley is now opening up about future family planning and more in a recent Instagram Q&A.

One person asked if Ashley had any baby girl names that she loves but didn’t get to use.

Ashley said, “I always wanted to name a girl Arena because it’s where I often felt the most alive, but Jared doesn’t like it. Wah!”

Another fan asked if their second child is another boy if they would try for baby number three.

Ashley got candid, writing, “Oh hellllll to the naw. Before having Dawson, I would have said yes. That was before having a boy and before knowing how exhausting kids are. I definitely had gender disappointment when I found out Dawson was a boy. Now, I can’t imagine it any other way of course and don’t really care whether the next is a boy or a girl. I just want our kids to be best friends like my sister and I. We’ll be two and done for sure.”

Ashley went on, sharing that she and her sister have always been close thanks to the dynamic that her parents cultivated for them.

She said, “We’ve always been very unfiltered with each other. My parents have the best marriage imaginable. Every day my dad is like, ‘Look at your mom! Look how wonderful she is! I am so blessed!’ I always wanted to go out to dinner with them and hang out with them more than my friends even on weekends as a teenager. My mom gave us the coolest experiences. She’d always been the one driving us and our best friends to concerts hours away. Those are some of our best memories.”

How sweet!

Ashley shared what her favorite part of being a mom is, saying, “One of my favorite parts is watching Dawson grow and learn and him being so excited about it. Like when I quiz him on which Sesame Street character is which and he gets them right and we hug and he claps. Or when he stands up on his own and he lights up knowing that he’s being a big boy doing something new. Anything that makes him smile, laugh, chatter, or dance is my favorite!”

Ashley also updated fans on how Dawson’s sleep has been going and how getting the Cradlewise crib for him has been the “greatest invention of all time.”
