Get to know Brayden a little better below!
1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: I don’t really have any topics that I consider taboo. The crazier the topic, the better.
2. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
3. My guilty pleasure is: Shower beer… Nothing better than a cold beer in the shower. My dream is to have a fridge one day in my shower fully stocked.
4. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Commitment is key. When I was working at a home hospice, I met an elderly couple that had been together for over 60 years. They told me that there were times where they would sleep in separate rooms for a month or two, but they never quit on the promise they made to each other. They never left. They stayed and worked things through. They said at the end of the day, things always ended up working out and that they were happy they stuck it out.
5. My biggest pet peeve is: When people nitpick. It drives me crazy when you’re with people that only talk about the bad things of a situation, person, food, etc.
6. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Surf! I head to the beach and hit the water first thing. I’m absolutely terrible at surfing, but it puts me in the right headspace for my day.
7. My last meal on earth would be: I would go to the Chart House in Cardiff with my family and eat the steak, lobster tail, and scallops with the best red wine they have!
8. The song that always gets me pumped up is: Fire Squad by J. Cole. I listen to that song when I’m about to go hoop or work out.
9. My hidden talent is: I’m actually pretty good at rapping. I love to turn on instrumentals and rap to them in my car or with friends.
10. My current phone screen saver is: I have a slideshow of my dog River.
11. The person that inspires me the most is: The UFC fighter Alexander Volkanovski. The guy is a champion but remains humble and hungry. He’s a beast but never lets it get to his head. And he’s carefree and seems like a cool guy to be able to kick it with.
12. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: “The Other Guys.” Literally my favorite movie. I quote lines from it all the time.
13. My favorite part of being on “The Bachelorette” was: Learning about myself. The show in a way worked as therapy for me and put me in a situation where I had to address past trauma that I realized I had just buried.
14. Being on “The Bachelorette” taught me: You don’t have to be friends with everyone, but that also doesn’t mean you have to be enemies either.
15. My celebrity crush is: Dua Lipa 😍
16. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Bachelorette” is: Buy into the experience. Let go of your expectations and hold on for the ride.
17. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: Aaron S. (That’s my brother), James Pierce, Caleb B. (#youngbucks)
18. If you go on “The Bachelorette,” don’t forget to pack: Pictures from home. You don’t get to have your phone during filming, so it’s nice to be able to look at pictures of your family, friends and of course your dog (or other furry friend).
19. When Bachelor Nation fans approach me in person and/or online, the first question they ask is: Was it real? And yes, it was for me. The experience is so immersive that you forget you are being filmed.
20. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? To be honest, I used to have an answer for this, but I am learning to focus on seeing myself in the present. I’ve come to see that life is a lot more enjoyable that way. Otherwise, I start worrying about what’s next.
