Let the journey begin!

This week, Bachelor Nation fans saw night one of Charity Lawson’s time as the Bachelorette unfold, and there’s still so much more to come.

At the end of this week’s episode, we got a look at all that’s ahead this season and the teaser had us on the edge of our seats.

In our exclusive chat with Charity, she said if she could use one word to describe this season, it would be “thrilling,” and this teaser was thrilling indeed!

It started off with Charity saying, “My husband is inside of that room and I feel really good about what’s to come!” Host Jesse Palmer called the season “a romantic fairy tale for the ages.”

Charity shared what she is looking for, saying, “I’m here to find a husband, someone who’s truly going to show up, love me, and be there for me. I’ve never had that.”

And the Bachelorette went on adding that, “I have such a great group of guys and they all bring something different to the table. I can see myself with each of them. In past relationships, I’ve sacrificed my own happiness, but not anymore.”

Many of the men praised their leading lady, with Aaron B. saying, “Charity is the whole package. She’s such an empathetic, passionate, woman,” and Joey adding, “Every time she walks into a room, she is captivating. It’s fun to be around this girl.”

Brayden also told the Bachelorette, “This is nuts. I definitely have a crush on you. I’m crushing. I’m into you,” and Dotun said, “Before I met you, it never felt like fairy tales were meant for me, but here I am.”

But the guys weren’t the only ones getting all up in their feels. Charity says, “Tanner, every time I’m with you, I’m on cloud nine,” and that “Joey is someone that makes me feel so safe.”

Love is in the air because both Xavier and Joey are seen telling Charity that they are falling for her!

Amid all the romance, drama heats up as Charity is seen breaking down crying multiple times.

Through her tears, the Bachelorette says, “Everything that I’ve prayed for is right in front of me. I am falling in love, but it’s with more than one person. I just don’t know what I’m going to do. I’m, like, losing my mind. This is not what this is supposed to be.”

Jealousy also comes up, and the guys share that it’s tough for them to watch a girl they have feelings for go on dates with other people.

The teaser shows drama between Adrian and Brayden heating up and some of the guys call Brayden “toxic” and say he’s “not ready for an engagement.”

Meanwhile, Sean is also under fire, with Charity seen saying to him, “Sean is getting too cocky. You’re at a point where you’re pissing me off. Your rose is on the chest, but who’s to say I can’t clip that sh*t off.”

And it all comes down to the final few days of her season when emotions are running high.

During the overnight dates, Charity says, “Are you kidding? We are a week away from you being on one knee and you don’t even know what you want. I am heartbroken. That’s not fair. This isn’t right.”

And on proposal day, Charity is seen crying and saying, “This whole journey has been extremely hard, but I am madly in love. It’s terrifying because I’m so fearful of sending my person home. You are not supposed to say goodbye to someone that you love.”
