Joe Amabile & Serena Pitt Reveal Their ‘Bachelorette’ Predictions and Their Thoughts on Charity
New season, new podcast!
This week, Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt were announced as the new co-hosts of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Now, the fan-favorite couple is sharing their thoughts on night one of Charity Lawson’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
On this week’s episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour,” Joe and Serena shared their initial reactions to the leading lady.
Joe said, “My number one thought is that Charity really seems to have her life and herself together. When she was on Zach’s season, I looked at her as a woman who knows what she wants. I feel like that’s a great quality for a lead. Usually, that type of person will end up happily engaged at the end. This was just her premiere!”
Serena agreed, saying, “I was excited for Charity to be the Bachelorette and I agree with you, she is definitely someone who seems to have their life together in all aspects. I also think she’s absolutely stunning. I don’t feel like we saw her personality enough on Zach’s season, like actually at all, if I’m being totally honest. So I wondered how she would be. I didn’t feel like I knew who she was as a person yet. I feel like she showed off her personality way more in the premiere episode and it made me even more excited to watch her. She does have this very warm, bubbly, fun personality.”
Joe asked Serena to predict whether there would be a happy engagement by the end of the season or if the season would end in heartbreak.
Serena said, “I think there will be a couple major heartbreaks because she seems like someone who falls fast and hard. I feel like the guys that she has a connection with; she’s already really into them. I think she’s going to have some major heartbreak, but I’m feeling optimistic that it’s going to be a clean proposal at the end. I would love to hear that she’s still in love and happy. Honestly, I think this is the least amount I’ve ever known going into a season. Usually I hear spoilers here and there, but I know nothing going into this season, which is kind of fun!”
Next, the couple shared who stood out on night one and whose relationships they think will be going far.
Joe discussed his favorite limo entrances and said, “There were two guys that stood out to me connection-wise from their limo entrances. I thought Joey and Aaron B. that seemed to be the strongest connections from the limo. I also really liked Dotun and he was really smooth and I think she’s going to be really into him. He’s the one from Nigeria and he’s really tall.”
Serena also shared some of her favorite first impressions, saying, “I really like John and I loved his fortune cookie entrance. He was my standout from the get-go and then I think they made out too. I also liked the coin flip entrance and that was Aaron B., but imagine if it was tails and then he got back in the limo and just headed home! That would be a different kind of Bachelorette season. I also liked the plane ticket from Warwick. I thought that was something I hadn’t seen before and it was a cute story and the gesture was memorable.”
And the two picked their predictions for Charity’s top four guys and bet each other a fancy dinner for whoever is right.
Joe said, “Dotun, Joey, Xavier, and then I’m going to throw in a guy who we didn’t see much of, Tanner. Those are my four picks for the final four.”
And Serena shared her guesses, saying, “I am going to with Aaron B., Joey, Josh, and John. If John isn’t in the top four, I’ll be shocked. I love him. I don’t remember a lot about Josh either, but he’s the guy that called out her brother. It’s fine if you don’t agree. Time will tell!”
