Brayden Reveals Why He Loves His ‘Goofy’ Earrings and What They Mean to Him
More than just fashion.
Bachelor Nation fans just met Brayden on Season 20 of “The Bachelorette” and he famously received Charity’s First Impression Rose.
Now, the Bachelor Nation star is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast for an exclusive chat, where he opened up about his iconic earrings.
Co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt asked Brayden about his earrings because they made waves online after Night 1.
Brayden revealed they mean more to him than just a simple fashion choice.
He said, “I was in the Army and in the Army you aren’t allowed to wear earrings. You’re also not allowed to have long hair and you have to keep your facial hair tight and right. So when I got out, I wanted to just go for it. I got my ears pierced and got the craziest earrings I could find and I feel like they represent how I’m feeling in the moment.”
Brayden went on, sharing, “I like the dangly ones. I think they are goofy and they make people laugh. People come up to me and say, ‘Dude, your earrings are goofy as hell,’ and it makes them feel comfortable to smile. That’s why I wear them. I think they are fun and goofy. So you’ll definitely see me wear more earrings on the show, and I wore some other goofy stuff too.”
Serena said she loves them and that they probably make for great conversations with strangers.
Brayden agreed, saying “The earrings are always a good conversation starter too. That’s one of my favorite things about wearing them. I love talking to people and they will ask about the earrings and I tell them about them.”
Joe asked Brayden if he saw any negativity online about his earrings and if that would make him reconsider wearing the earrings.
He said, “No. I mean I love my dad, he’s one of my favorite people in the world, but he’s also one of the people that humbles me the most. He’ll tell me every time he sees me, ‘Bro, what’s up with your earrings?’ So anything that people say online, I’ve already heard from my dad, you guys are good to go.”
Love it!
