Nate Mitchell Opens Up for Men’s Mental Health Month: ‘I’ve Always Looked Great During My Toughest Battles’
Getting candid.
Bachelor Nation fans first met Nate Mitchell on Season 19 of “The Bachelorette,” and the fan favorite has been keeping us updated with his life on social media since his time on the show.
Now, Nate is taking to social media to honor Men’s Mental Health Month and open up about his mental health journey.
Alongside photos of himself walking on the beach, Nate wrote, “Men’s mental health month is coming to an end but I wanted to make a transparent post to express gratitude to friends, fam, and kind strangers that shared their light.”
The Bachelor Nation star continued on, saying, “I’ve always ‘looked’ great during my toughest battles but being fit or wearing a smile was usually a mask. This world could use more kindness so if you have the ability to spread love and light it helps.”
Fans and Nate’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments with love and support.
One person wrote, “Thank you for sharing your story and for bringing a light to men’s mental health month,” and another said, “I can relate. I can always be a light for others with a smile on my face and people will never know what I am going through.”
Michael Allio, Mike Johnson, Clayton Echard, Ethan Kang, and more all send their best wishes to Nate in the comments.
We couldn’t agree more and we know that Nate bringing awareness to Men’s Mental Health Month and discussing his own story will help others.
Sending Nate love now and always!
