Get to know Joe a little better below!
1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: Is an Irish goodbye rude? Let’s debate the scenarios. Is this your first time meeting everyone or your brother’s wedding?
2. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly... Kidding. What’s going on there?
3. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Throw away the checklist. No one is going to have it all. Trust your gut and don’t let great be the enemy of the good.
4. My zodiac sign is ___________ and my most [insert zodiac sign] trait would be: Sagittarius. My most Sag trait is that I’m independent... probably why I’m still single.
5. My biggest pet peeve is: Slow walkers and line cutters. To the back please!
6. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Cup of coffee (pour over please) and 10 minutes of journaling ... because mental health is cool.
7. My last meal on earth would be: Steak and ice cream, burrito on the side (yes, I will eat all of it, don’t judge me; it’s my last meal on earth).
8. The song that always gets me pumped up is:“Bangarang” by Skrillex. How can you not headbang?
9. My hidden talent is: Keeping plants alive. Out of all the plants I went crazy collecting during quarantine, I can proudly say I’ve retained 80% of them, excluding those I intentionally neglected. RIP.
10. My current phone screen saver is: Solid black. 10/10 boring, but I’m trying to spend less time on my phone so attempting to limit the entertainment value.
11. The person that inspires me the most is: Matthew McConaughey — there are people with arguably greater impact on society, but I’ve read his autobio a few times and his approach to life is so different than mine, it stretches my thinking in positive ways.
12. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: The Emperor’s New Groove. 95% of watches before I turned 10 but still holds the top spot.
13. My favorite emoji is: Saluting face ... iykyk.
14. The last thing I Googled is: EDC 2023 Lineup.
15. My favorite part of being on “The Bachelorette” was: Meeting Charity and all the other guys on the cast. All there together thrown into this new and unique situation just trying to sort it out.
16. Being on “The Bachelorette” taught me: Push yourself to be more vulnerable earlier on. You don’t have to divulge all your childhood traumas immediately, but to give things a shot, you should tell people how you feel earlier on. Be the one to say it first even if that feels more emotionally risky.
17. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Bachelorette” is: Deep breaths. It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be tough, but you’re going to love it.
18. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: Ariel Frankel, Matt James, Grocery Store Joe.
19. Something I still have from my time on “The Bachelorette” is: A diary I wrote my thoughts in with a lock on it.
20. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Continuing success in my career while pursuing projects that are closer to what I feel is my personal mission. And hopefully continuing to explore every nook and cranny of this world with my future bestie/partner.
