Wells Adams Discusses Being Chosen as Serena Pitt & Joe Amabile’s Wedding Officiant
Just when we thought we couldn’t be more excited for this Bachelor Nation wedding…!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile find love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now, as the two get excited for their wedding day in September, they just revealed that “Paradise” bartender Wells Adams will be their officiant as they say “I do.”
During an appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, Joe said, “This is an exclusive. Wells is marrying us!”
Serena chimed in, saying, “I’m sure he will have plenty of jokes! It was actually a very easy decision. We were more just worried he would say no to doing it. It’s kind of a big ask! It’s not like, ‘Hey can you come to my wedding?’ It’s like, ‘Can you stand up there and prepare a speech and essentially marry us?’ We’re so excited. We are so happy he said yes. It’s going to be awesome. It’s just very symbolic for us.”
Joe revealed how it went down, adding, “I just texted him and was like, ‘Will you marry us?’ and he was just like, ‘What?!’ He’s a good friend and he was such a large part of our experience. When he said yes to doing it, Serena did cry.”
Now, Wells is taking to his Instagram Stories to share his feelings about marrying the fan-favorite Bachelor Nation couple.
Wells said, “So honored to marry these two beautiful humans! Yes it is true. Am I ordained? Oh yeah. Universal Life Church, I’m pretty sure it’s a real thing. I don’t know, I got it online, but I am pretty sure. Now everyone is asking, ‘Wells do you do Bar Mitzvahs?’ Yeah I do, Shalom! Bar and Bat Mitvahs, you know it!”
Now we truly can’t wait for Joe and Serena to tie the knot in September with Wells by their side.
It’s going to be a very special day for Bachelor Nation!
