This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Wells Adams Makes His Bartender Debut in ‘Paradise’
Almost “Paradise”!
As we get excited for Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise” this fall, we’re throwing it back to an iconic moment in Season 4.
This week in Bachelor Nation history, Wells Adams made his debut as our resident bartender, a title he still holds to this day.
During the premiere of Season 4 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” it was revealed that former bartender Jorge was leaving the show to start his own restaurant.
Then it was revealed that Wells, who appeared on the previous season of “Paradise,” would be taking over the role.
Wells quickly became an integral part of the show as an ear to listen as he mixed drinks for cast members in various love triangles.
Below is Wells’ recap of his very first week as the “Paradise” bartender, and as you can see, he was already in the thick of it!
And while at the time Wells was publicly still single, he was not there for dates or to steal anyone away for a second — he was there strictly as the bartender.
It was later revealed that Wells had already begun seeing his now wife actress Sarah Hyland, so he wasn’t in the market for dates anyway.
Now, six years later, Wells is still bartending and a fan-favorite part of the show.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, Wells did go to bartending school and is a licensed bartender in addition to being a hilarious commentator on the show.
We can’t wait to see all that Wells has in store for us this season on “Paradise.” Click here for some tea he’s spilling on the season pre-premiere!
