Find Out What New Bachelor Joey Graziadei Is Looking For: ‘I Just Want Someone to Do Life With’
Our next Bachelor!
It was announced this week that Joey Graziadei is going to be our leading man for Season 28 of “The Bachelor.”
After his relationship with Charity Lawson didn’t work out, Joey is ready to move on and find the love of his life.
He joined host Jesse Palmer onstage, where he opened up about getting chosen to be the next lead.
Joey said, “It is definitely surreal. It’s sinking in very slowly. I’m trying my best to stay present and just enjoy it. This is crazy. I will be the first to say this is wild. I never expected this at all. I didn’t know that this was what my life would be turning into at that moment, so yeah, crazy stuff, but I’m excited!”
Jesse asked Joey how he knows he’s ready to find love again after his heartbreaking split with Charity.
Joey said, “I’m more ready now to give love another shot than I was in that moment in Fiji. For me, it was taking some time to get a little bit more closure. Watching Dotun and Charity’s connection was enough for me. I have so much love for that dude and obviously for her completely as well. It was nice to be able to see someone so special be with her.”
The future Bachelor went on, adding, “That in general gave me the ability to separate myself from it and appreciate it for it was, but most of all, it opened up a part of me that wants something like that so badly. I’m at this point in my life where I am prioritizing something that I’ve put on the back burner for a while. I’m ready to prioritize it again.”
Jesse asked Joey what kind of love he’s looking for and he got candid with his answer.
Joey said, “I am looking for someone that is themself that I can truthfully be a partner with. I want someone that challenges me. I want someone that I can challenge. I just want someone to do life with. I want someone that is going to be my person and at the end of the day, regardless of what we face, we are going to be more than happy together.”
We can’t wait to watch Joey’s Bachelor journey unfold, and we couldn’t think of someone more deserving of love!
