Nayte Olukoya Gets Candid About Acne and How He’s Gotten Rid of His ‘Insane Scars’
Nayte Olukoya is keeping it real!
Bachelor Nation fans met Nayte on Season 18 of “The Bachelorette,” and he’s been keeping us updated with his life on social media since his time on the show.
This week, Nayte took to Instagram to get candid about his skincare routine and how he’s reduced his acne scarring over time.
Alongside the video, Nayte wrote, “How to get rid of acne scars! I used to have the most insane acne scars in college because I’m a picker/popper. When you mess with pimples too early, they become scars, and then you look like a mess for much longer than you want. Thank god for VITAMIN C though. Works every time!”
In the video, Nayte walks fans through his step-by-step skincare routine.
He started off saying, “We doing skincare today. I remember the last time I posted one of these and it was a three-part thing and I just talked the whole time, I’m not doing that this time. I’m jumping right into it. This video is about how to get rid of acne scars. ‘Cause me, I’m a picker. When I get a pimple or a zit I gotta pop it man, I have to. When you do that prematurely or too early, you get scars.”
The Bachelor Nation star went on, sharing, “This is what I use to get rid of those scars. First thing’s first, obviously clean your face. I have this purifying enzyme cleanser from Osmosis MD. Do not forget to clean your neck. Rinse it off with cold water. One more time, rinse with cold water and pat dry! Next up, I use these anti-blemish pads. I’ve been using these since high school. I have used so many different brands but the ones I’m using now are from Noxzema. I swear by these, I use every day multiple times a day.”
Then after Nayte washes his face, he gets into his favorite product, which he swears by.
He said, “Now that we’re done cleaning our face, we want to tackle our acne scars. What are we gonna use? We’re going to use vitamin C serum. I remember in college, my forehead was just riddled with acne scars because I didn’t know what I was doing, I was just drinking beer and partying and getting good grades. Vitamin C, I don’t know how it works, but when it comes to acne scars, boy it’s the real deal.”
At the end of the video, Nayte reminds viewers to moisturize and use an SPF 30 or greater once they are all done.
