This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Jade & Tanner Exchange first ‘I Love You’s’ in ‘Paradise’

As Bachelor Nation fans get excited for Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise” to premiere this month, we’re looking back on an iconic “Paradise” moment with an iconic “Paradise” couple.
This week in Bachelor Nation history, we’re taking it back to a very special moment on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 2.
This week in 2015, Jade Roper Tolbert and Tanner Tolbert said “I love you” to each other for the very first time.
As fans know, the couple eventually got engaged on Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and they were married in 2016.
Since then, they have welcomed three children together: Emmy, Brooks, and Reed.
But this week, we’re going back to the very beginning when the two were on a one-on-one date and Tanner said, “These feelings are real and I do love you.”
Jade smiled and replied, “I love you too, Tanner,” before the two shared a sweet kiss.
Sparks were flying between the iconic Bachelor Nation couple since they first laid eyes on each other in “Paradise.”
When Tanner first walked down on the beach, he said, “Jade was someone I had my eye on from the get-go.”
And when Jade got one of the very first date cards of the season, she asked Tanner to join her.
Before she could even finish asking, he said yes, they headed out, and the rest is history!
