Serena Pitt Reveals a Special Wedding Surprise and Something She’s Glad She & Joe Amabile Did

Earlier this month, Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt tied the knot in front of family and friends in Charleston, South Carolina.
Since their big day, the couple has been posting moments from their wedding on social media and shared their wedding story on their “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Now, Serena took to her Instagram Stories to answer fan questions about her wedding and revealed some behind-the-scenes special moments.
One fan asked Serena if there was anything she was particularly glad she and Joe did at their wedding.
The Bachelor Nation star said, “We almost didn’t do a sweetheart table and we were so glad that we did! The night was so crazy so dinner was our chance to just sit and have quality time together.”
She went on, saying, “Our dinner was fairly quick (like an hour and a half I think) and it was great because guests would come chat with us throughout. It was our time to take it all in together!”
How sweet!
Another fan asked Serena if she did a “something borrowed, something blue, something old, something new” tradition.
The bride said, “I LOVE THIS QUESTION! I didn’t have any of those planned, but on the day of, my sister, mom, and bridesmaids each surprised me with a gift so that I did.”
Serena shared what each item was, revealing, “My bridesmaids got me a special bracelet with my wedding date on it for my something new. My mom got me a garter made out of fabric from my grandmother’s sari (this was old and blue). And my sister let me borrow our grandmother’s ring for the night.”
Serena said that these moments were “such insanely thoughtful and special gifts for my wedding day.”
