Michael Allio & Danielle Maltby Confirm Their Split: ‘It’s Really Awful’

Bachelor Nation fans saw Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby find love and leave the beach together on Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
And earlier this year, Danielle moved to Cleveland to be closer to Michael and his son James.
Now, the couple unfortunately just confirmed the news of their split after a few months of speculation from fans.
Michael stopped by fellow Bachelor Nation star Jason Tartick’s “Trading Secrets” podcast and he opened up about their breakup.
He said, “I guess I’ll just come out with it. We’re not together anymore. Yeah, it’s really, it’s not what we planned. We both threw a lot into this relationship, and it’s really awful when it doesn’t work out.”
Michael also shared that he and Danielle had the realization that the “love is there, but you’re not necessarily compatible.”
He continued on, saying, “You mourn the loss, not of just that person and that friend in your life but also the future that you had envisioned. And it’s to no fault of hers.”
Michael shared that his ex Danielle really gave the relationship her all and “poured everything into this.”
He acknowledged her relocating to Ohio to be closer to him, saying, “I just have so much admiration. Yeah, and I guess that’s it, you know, right now. We’re still, you know, working through some things and trying to stay close. Yeah, but, yeah, [the] last couple months have been really tough.”
As of now, Michael said he’s still healing and starting over again when it comes to dating sounds really scary.
He explained, “I know that time will heal because I’ve felt that before, but it doesn’t make it any less difficult.”
