Charity Lawson Gets Highest Score from Judges on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Premiere

During her “Bachelorette” season finale, it was announced that Charity Lawson would be joining Season 32 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
And earlier this month, it was revealed that the former Bachelorette is paired up with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev for the competition.
Last night, Charity and Artem hit the dance floor for the first time together and they did not disappoint… Quite the opposite, actually!
Charity and Artem received the highest scores of the evening for their tango, which judge Bruno Tonioli called “exquisite” and Carrie Ann Inaba said it was “stunning,” especially for Week 1.
Charity received a score of 22, which was just ahead of Jason Mraz and Ariana Madix’s teams, who both scored 21.
Charity took to her Instagram Stories to share some special moments from the night, including a little backstage moment with her fiancé Dotun Olubeko.
Alongside the photo, the former Bachelorette wrote, “Pre-show huggies with my biggest fan!”
And after the show, Charity shared a photo with her dance partner and wrote, “A feeling I can’t describe! So grateful. We keep climbing from here!”
We’re so proud of Charity and we are hoping she takes home that Mirrorball Trophy and brings it back to Bachelor Nation!
