Wells Adams Reveals His Detailed Vision for a ‘Golden Bachelor in Paradise’
Another spin-off?!
Bachelor Nation fans are currently watching “Bachelor in Paradise” and “The Golden Bachelor” unfold on Thursday nights.
And “Paradise” bartender Wells Adams just stopped by Parade for a chat, where he revealed his vision for a combo spin-off of the two shows.
Wells said, “I have a vision of what ‘The Golden Bachelor in Paradise’ needs to look like. It needs to happen in Florida or in Scottsdale or in Palm Springs. It needs to be way too hot.”
He went on, explaining, “We need to be filming it there, preferably in an older age home or a La Quinta situation where everyone needs to be riding around in golf carts. We need to be having one-on-one dates at a shuffleboard court. We’d have two-on-ones or group dates at the bingo. The bingo winner gets more time with whoever is hosting the date.”
But Wells didn’t stop there. He was full of ideas for “Golden BIP,” which he’d be the bartender for, of course.
Wells told the outlet, “I think there needs to be some sort of paddleboard tournament that has a lot of weight or stakes to it. I need to be there of course making drinks. There needs to be a regular bar, but I also need to have Mylanta and Tums just in case for the cast. And I feel very strongly about this — every romantic dinner needs to start with the sun still up, be an early bird special at 4:30 in the afternoon at Golden Corral. If you don’t get a rose, you have to leave in a golf cart.”
Too good!
And Wells has really thought of it all: He even shared his drink ideas for an older cast in “Paradise.”
He said, “I like to think that the seniors are a little bit more sophisticated, so I think I’d be making a lot more martinis, maybe some old-fashioneds, some Manhattans. Maybe some scotch neat. I can see that being a drink I’d make a lot and probably a lot of coffee to keep them up for the Rose Ceremony.”
Okay, well, now we’ll just be thinking about a “Golden Paradise” for the rest of the week! Who else would love to see the show Wells dreamed up? Let us know in the comments below!
