April Shares Words of Wisdom for Self-Love at Any Age and How ‘Golden Bachelor’ Changed Her

This week, April stopped by for a chat with Joe Amabile on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast, where she discussed her journey of hoping to find love in her golden years.
Joe asked April if she had any advice for others who hope to find love again later in life and April shared her words of wisdom.
The “Golden Bachelor” star said, “Remember your worth. You are no different inside. The soul is eternal, it’s ageless. That’s why you feel ageless, because you truly are. There is no death. There’s a physical taking off of a glove, which is your body, but you are still you. You are that beautiful little girl that skipped down the road, that was excited for Christmas, that wanted to go to prom, that loved getting her license.”
She went on, adding, “Even if you’re no longer driving, there’s so much out there that is still waiting for the inner child in you. Let her out. Let her sing, let her dance, let her fall, let her cry. Don’t lean in, jump in. Don’t miss a second of it. The rest of my life is going to be the best part of my life. The people who are meant for you will not pass you by.”
April shared that her experience on “The Golden Bachelor” changed her life and it was an experience she didn’t see coming for herself.
She said, “I had no idea about ‘The Bachelor.’ ‘The Golden Bachelor’ changed me, it healed me, it revitalized me, it woke me up. That was planned, not with my consciousness, and I’m living proof of that. I am so grateful.”
