Love fest!

Bachelor Nation fans have been watching Gerry Turner look for love on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelor.”

And while romantic love has been in the air, the love of friendship has been flowing between the women on the show.

During this week’s pickleball date, April, Nancy, and Faith stopped by for an exclusive chat with BachelorNation.com, where they raved about Gerry and their love for one another in the house.

April shared how much this experience on “The Golden Bachelor” has changed her, saying on Night 1, “I met these women and I know it sounds ridiculous, but it was love at first sight. I totally fell in love with these women I met in my room. Susan, Kathy, Nancy, and I call ourselves ‘ASKN’ and we know we will be friends for life. This has been such an amazing way of waking up. Actually having new girlfriends has been so special.”

She went on, saying, “When I lost my partner, I also lost the couples. The couples we were friends with before my husband died didn’t go out with me anymore. I have mostly just been staying home and trying to focus on my career. But I meet these women here and I was like, ‘April is back. I know who I am.’ It’s like someone has been opening up little files in my brain that have been closed, and it’s been so healing.”

Nancy agreed and shared that she has felt so seen by Gerry and the other women in the cast.

Nancy shared, “Gerry also lost his wife six years ago, I lost my husband 12 years ago. We both have children too. Many of the women in this group have also lost people close to them. When you sit with people who have gone through something similar, you have that connection automatically. I think that’s why we’re all so supportive of each other. It brings us together because we want to be there for each other.”

And Faith discussed her connection with Gerry and her love for the other “Golden” gals.

Faith said, “Coming from what I’m thinking, it feels like we’re continuing to grow our connection and we’re talking about some important things. It feels like we could actually maybe have this be something. I think all of us feel that way, though. That’s the hard part.”

She continued, adding, “I think we’ve got something special, but I feel like every woman here probably feels the same way. And they are all so wonderful too, so Gerry has hard decisions to make! So many parts of this journey have been so amazing.”
