1. A taboo topic I love talking about is: I lost my husband to suicide. Suicide is a topic that has been taboo for far too long. It’s time that we all get comfortable discussing mental health issues if we want people to lead emotionally healthier lives and reach out for help when needed.

2. I think a celebrity couple that is the definition of #relationshipgoals is: Fellow Austinites Matthew McConaughey and his beautiful wife Camila Alves are magical. They found love at first sight and they know how to protect their private lives, have a tight-knit family, and manage careers perfectly.

3. My guilty pleasure is: Eating any kind of chocolate: semisweet, milk or dark... out of a bag, candy bars, or brownies... They’re all irresistible!

4. The best relationship advice I ever received was: Live my life doing the things I love and the right people will come into my life.

5. My zodiac sign is ___________ and my most [insert zodiac sign] trait would be: Taurus. Emotionally strong: I have had some tough obstacles to overcome in my life and having emotional courage to deal with everything that life throws at me has been invaluable!

6. My biggest pet peeve is: People who change lanes on the highway without signaling first. Ugh!

7. The first thing I do when I wake up is: Feed my sweet geriatric cats and then make a delicious cup of coffee and enjoy it on my porch looking out at the beautiful nature in my backyard.

8. My last meal on earth would be: A broiled Maine live lobster with melted butter!

9. The song that always makes me want to dance is: “Dancing Queen” by Abba!

10. My current phone screen saver is: A picture of my two incredible granddaughters.

11. The movie I’ve rewatched the most is: “My Best Friend’s Wedding”!

12. The last thing I Googled is: The temperature in any city cooler than Austin was this summer.

13. My favorite part of being on “The Golden Bachelor” was: Meeting so many fabulous people, starting with Gerry, who deserves all the happiness in the world!

14. Being on “The Golden Bachelor” taught me: It reinforced that it’s always best to be my authentic self and enjoy the people that come into my life... And I can live without my phone!!

15. My advice for anyone who goes on “The Golden Bachelor” in the future is: Be yourself, have fun and know that it’s an adventure that most people will never have and remember: We all deserve a second chance at love!

16. If I had to hang out with only three people from Bachelor Nation for the rest of my life, it would be: April Kirkwood, Susan Noles, and Nancy Hulkower!

17. If you go on “The Golden Bachelor,” don’t forget to pack: Your fashion-forward clothes, great shoes, lots of smiles, and great lip gloss!

18. Something I still have from my time on “The Golden Bachelor” is: My lime-green outfit that I wore at the pickleball tournament!
