Sandra Discusses the Mixed Feedback She’s Received for Cursing on ‘The Golden Bachelor’

Bachelor Nation fans met and fell in love with Sandra on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor.”
From her very first moment out of the limo, Sandra showed off her glowing personality and hilarious sense of humor.
She famously led Gerry in a funny cursing Zen practice, saying, “You know what I do when I get nervous? I have this Zen practice, so I’m going to do that right now. I take a couple of breaths…” and then she spewed a string of profanities that had to be bleeped out.
Now Sandra is stopping by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and opening up about the mixed reviews she received for her F-it attitude.
Co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt asked Sandra if she’s gotten any feedback about her iconic limo entrance, and to their surprise, she said she got mixed reviews.
Sandra said, “My oldest child is 50, but that’s a younger generation to me, and young folks loved my limo exit on ‘Golden Bachelor.’ But folks more my generation or my demographic were more skeptical about that. That seems to be the feedback I’m getting.”
The Bachelor Nation star shared that maybe it was just her choice of words or her unthreatening look that caught people by surprise.
Sandra explained, “There are a lot of swear words out there and the F isn’t necessarily America’s choice, or older America’s choice. Maybe if it was a different swear word! I look like a schoolteacher or a librarian, so people don’t expect me to spew a word like that, so it has its shock value, and I guess it worked.”
We love Sandra’s sense of humor and ability to be unapologetically herself!
