Mari Pepin & Kenny Braasch Are Officially Married! See Inside Their Stunning Puerto Rican Wedding
Officially husband and wife!
Bachelor Nation fans saw Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch find love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Now, the two are finally married and we couldn’t be happier for them!
Mari and Kenny tied the knot in Puerto Rico, where she’s from, surrounded by 65 loved ones at Hacienda Don Carmelo.
The couple spoke to People about their wedding date, saying, “I do believe in signs and numbers, and so 11/11 is obviously seen as a special number and it means good things.”
For her wedding dress, Mari walked down the aisle in a stunning Justin Alexander gown.
She told the outlet, “It was completely different from what I had envisioned before I was actually starting to plan everything. I went and tried on dresses and I ended up going in a complete opposite of what I thought I was going to have.”
Mari and Kenny also made a nod to their time in “Paradise” together at their wedding for their first dance.
The two chose Foreigner’s song “I Want to Know What Love Is” for their first dance as husband and wife as a nod to the ’80s-themed prom they attended together on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Mari got emotional talking to the outlet about marrying Kenny, saying, “As a little girl, I always dreamed of my wedding day and what’s it going to look like and what am I going to wear, but as you get older, you realize that that’s not the important part.”
She went on, saying, “The important part is actually finding a person that you want to spend the rest of your life with and that you get along so well with. And it wasn’t until I met Kenny that I was like, oh yeah, I’m not thinking about that as much as this is the kind of person that I want to be with. That really made me realize that it was right.”
And while their Puerto Rican wedding day was an intimate affair, Mari teased to the outlet that they are also planning another celebration where their Bachelor Nation family can be in attendance.
She discussed their upcoming Chicago celebration, saying, “We’ve always had the idea to do a couple of other celebrations so we can include more people as well.”
We are so happy for Mari and Kenny and can’t wait for the celebrations to continue.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
