Mari Pepin Spills on Last-Minute Wedding Hair Change, Family Planning, and Any Regrets in New Q&A
Spilling the wedding tea.
Bachelor Nation fans saw Mari Pepin and Kenny Braasch find love and get engaged on Season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Over the weekend, the two finally got married in Puerto Rico and they couldn’t be more in love!
Now, Mari is answering fan questions about her and Kenny’s wedding weekend and their future together.
Mari started off the Q&A sharing her favorite moment from the wedding, saying, “I can’t choose only one, but this was definitely a top moment — I surprised everyone (Kenny included) with a traditional batucada (live ensemble)! They got everyone dancing and it was so much fun!”
Another fan asked Mari how she decided on her hair and makeup look for the day, and she said, “The weather decided it for me,” with a sad face emoji.
She shared a photo of herself in her dress before the wedding and wrote, “This is what we were going to do originally. It would have been impossible with the heat, humidity, and rain we were getting. Such is the nature of a Puerto Rico wedding on the tail end of hurricane season in the Caribbean!”
And while her hairstyle had a last-minute change-up, Mari said she has “zero complaints related to getting married in PR! Weather and all, it was still perfect and fun the way it happened. Kenny’s family got to experience where I’m from and our culture and I wouldn’t have traded that!”
Mari revealed why there Bachelor Nation family was missing from the guest list and she said, “This was just 65 guests — family and friends. Bachelor Nation is invited to Chicago! That is in March ’24! It’s not really a second wedding though, more of a big reception/party!”
She continued on, saying, “We wanted multiple opportunities for everyone we love to celebrate with us! We choose PR as a destination right after ‘Paradise.’ We knew that would mean a lot of people might not be able to come! We didn’t want our friends to feel any pressure or obligation to travel and spend the time/money, so our PR wedding was mainly for our families and our Chicago one will be a chance for everyone to come party!”
As for their future, Mari shared that she and Kenny hope to buy a home in Puerto Rico in the future and also shared that while they are married, kids are still “at least a few years” away for them.
We love Mari and Kenny’s love and can’t wait for all that the future holds for the newlyweds!
Congrats again, lovebirds!
