Blake Moynes Reveals Where He & Ex-Fiancée Katie Thurston Currently Stand: ‘It Just Feels Supportive’
A new chapter.
Bachelor Nation star Blake Moynes has been through many ups and downs over the past couple years.
He was on Seasons 16 and 17 of “The Bachelorette” and left engaged to Katie Thurston at the end of her season.
Unfortunately, the two ended up going their separate ways at the end of 2021.
Now as Blake is on Season 9 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” Katie stopped by for an impromptu conversation with her ex-fiancé before hosting the season’s comedy roast.
Since the episode aired, Katie and Blake have shared photos together on social media and have fans buzzing about their relationship status.
Blake stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast and spilled the tea to Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile about where he and Katie stand now.
Serena asked Blake what was going on with him, and Katie and revealed that she even had friends texting her asking if the ex-couple got back together.
Blake opened up, saying, “You saw in the episode, it was a very cordial and mutual mature conversation that allowed us to essentially connect again in the outside world, but in a very friendly manner. To the point where now, it just feels supportive. I knew she was going on another show and we were able to connect in the outside world in a way where you can have a healthy relationship with an ex. That’s where that is.”
He continued on, sharing, “When that event was happening in San Diego, I was going to invite her with some other Bachelor Nation folks coming. It was a lot of fun that night and I’m glad she came and it was a good support. Prior to that, there was a lot of spite there with me traveling a lot and not being able to spend as much time together as we maybe would’ve liked, so her coming around and really supporting that work now was really nice and I appreciate it a lot.”
We love to hear that these two are on good terms and able to support each other in a new way.
