This Week in Bachelor Nation History: Hannah Brown Wins Mirrorball Trophy on ‘Dancing with the Stars’!
Throwing it back!
With our girl Charity Lawson making waves on “Dancing with the Stars,” it’s already been a week to celebrate the Bachelor Nation x “DWTS” crossover.
And it’s fitting that this week in Bachelor Nation history, one of our very own leading ladies, Hannah Brown, took home the Mirrorball Trophy in 2019.
The Season 15 Bachelorette and her dance partner Alan Bersten won the coveted trophy, and at the time, Hannah told “Entertainment Tonight” that she was in “complete shock” when Tom Bergeron called their names.
She said, “I’m super thankful for the experience. Even the hard times, the fans just stuck it out with us. I cried a bit earlier today, but I just felt a sense of peace come over me because I knew that I gave it my all.”
Hannah also opened up to the outlet about her experience on the show, saying, “It’s been crazy, it’s been heartbreaking, it’s been exciting and adventurous, but it’s all been worth it. I learned that I can be confident. I just felt so empowered on this journey… I sometimes don’t understand why this is happening to me, but the fans and the people who have loved me around this whole experience have made me feel like I do deserve it.”
Many of Hannah’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars supported her throughout the season, with Demi Burnett, Hannah Godwin, Colton Underwood, Heather Martin, and more all sitting in the audience to cheer her on.
Now, Charity has been on Hannah Brown’s podcast, where the two discussed “Dancing with the Stars” and Hannah gave Charity some words of wisdom as she competes.
