Leslie Fhima Reveals Whether She Got Closure with Gerry Turner and What She Wishes She’d Said at ATFR

Bachelor Nation fans saw Leslie Fhima look for love on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor.” During last week’s finale, we saw her leave heartbroken.
After getting a chance to sit down with Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner again for the first time at After the Final Rose, Leslie stopped by the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast to discuss the experience.
The Bachelor Nation star opened up to co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt about whether she got closure from Gerry, and if there was anything she wishes she had said to him.
Leslie started off saying, “I didn't see last night’s segment with Theresa and Gerry, maybe I’ll watch it when I get home — I don’t know. I feel like I didn’t get a ton of closure with him, but that’s okay. I feel like I closed it with myself.”
She also shared why she feels like she needs to get the closure from herself, not Gerry, saying, “You don’t really get a lot of closure. What can he say? He had to make a choice. It’s his journey, his choice. But he could’ve chosen not to say some things to me, that’s all. He said he wasn’t ready or his heart wasn’t ready or something like that.”
She added, “I was kinda glazing over at that point, so I didn’t get closure from him and I don’t know if anything he would’ve said could’ve really given me closure. He said that he chose Theresa over me and that felt a little harsh. Like, he could’ve said that a little bit nicer, especially because being chosen is kind of my soft spot.”
Serena and Joe asked Leslie if there was anything she wishes she would’ve said to Gerry or if she has any regrets from ATFR.
“I feel like he switched,” she replied, “and the only thing I should’ve said was that I thought he was a man of integrity, not that he is a man of integrity. Because at the end of the day, he didn’t really have the integrity with me that I thought he had. Listen, I know what I signed up for, someone has to go — I get that. I just didn’t expect it to be so hard.”
