Leslie Fhima Reveals Why She Just Spent Her 65th Birthday in the Hospital

Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Leslie Fhima on Season 1 of “The Golden Bachelor,” and she’s kept us updated with her life on social media since the show.
Last week, Leslie was looking forward to celebrating her 65th birthday with family and friends, but the day took a turn when she ended up in the emergency room.
The Bachelor Nation star took to her Instagram Stories to reveal what happened, saying, “Hey everybody! I know that everyone was just curious to know what I did on my 65th birthday. I spent it in the hospital. Yes, I had a bowel blockage, severe cramping, and came into the ER.”
She filmed the update from her hospital bed and said that she had to get surgery after doctors found the blockage, which was caused by scar tissue from an appendectomy she had almost 50 years ago.
Leslie gave a warning to fans, saying, “If you have severe stomach issues, don’t wait 12 hours to go to the hospital like I did.”
She ended her message wishing her followers a happy new year and said, “I am so appreciative and grateful for everyone that supports me on a daily basis. This has been an amazing year for me and I count my blessings daily … Happy 2024!”
We’re so glad Leslie is doing better and was able to get the surgery she needed!
